1st CCS VIRTUAL BENCHMARKING ACTIVITY HELD

On November 22, 2021, the College of Computing Studies (CCS) of Laguna University successfully held its 1st CCS Virtual Benchmarking activity via Zoom video conference. The purpose of the benchmarking activity is to gather the ideas, suggestions and best practices from various sectors that will set the direction for improvement of the academic program not just of Laguna University but also its partners in the academe. The conference was attended by distinguished participants from various sectors such as academe, industry, faculty, alumni, student, parent and CCS administrators. ALCUCOA GRANTS BSIT LEVEL 1 ACCREDITATION

Finally, the long wait is over for the program of Bachelor of Information Technology (BSIT) at Laguna University when it officially received its Level 1 accreditation certificate from the Commission on Accreditation for Local Colleges and Universities (ALCUCOA) in an awarding ceremony last September 22, 2021. During the presentation and confirmation of accreditation, University President Dr. Charlemagne G. Laviña said “My vision for Laguna University is to become the leading local university in CALABARZON to continuously improve the quality of instruction” Since December 2019, BSIT, together with other programs of LU, had been undergoing series of accreditation visits by the ALCUCOA.
